Taking horizontal footage and repurposing it for different platforms, such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts is such a pain.
I have created a set of wallpapers and images to use as guides for your vertical video content creation. The wallpapers and images have lines to guide where you can position your content to fit the different aspect ratios of each platform. The 4K box with an aspect ratio of 1.90∶1 can fit a vertical video with an aspect ratio of 9:16.
Use this wallpaper when you’re doing screen captures.
Moreover, to make sure your content is in the safe zone, I have created both a 4K and a 1080 x 1920 transparent image that you can layer on top of different clips. This way, you won't have to worry about different elements, such as the like button or search bar, cutting off what you're trying to show.
You can choose a light or dark version depending on your content.
This way you can focus on creating your content without worrying about how to optimize it.
